TallyGenicom Customer Support is a national service provider. Through our own strategically placed engineers we provide on site service throughout the UK mainland and return to base service at our Repair Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

We provide service to end users, OEMs, distributors, VARs, TPMs, module repair companies, etc.

What is Standard Warranty?
Standard warranty duration varies depending on technology and product model. Standard warranty is a best endeavour response and includes travel, labour and spare printer parts. There is no limit to the amount of call outs during the term of warranty. The warranty also enjoys technical support from the TallyGenicom technical support team based in the UK (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday).
Printer registration is required. See Terms & Conditions.

Please note life items such as print heads and hammer banks are covered as one replacement up to their life or three months, whichever comes first.

What are Onsite Warranty Upgrade Service Contracts?
Standard service contracts can only be purchased within 90 days of the hardware purchase and enhance the standard warranty (upgrade).
The contract can be bought in sets of one year, two years, three years, four years or five years. The agreement is a guaranteed next day on-site visit and includes travel, labour and spare printer parts. There is no limit to the amount of call outs during the term of contract. The contract also enjoys technical support from the TallyGenicom technical support team based in the UK (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday).

Please note life items such as print heads and hammer banks are not covered however fitting is free but the life part is chargeable.

What are Enhanced Service Contracts?
Enhanced service contracts can be purchased at any time and can either enhance the standard warranty (upgrade) or cover an out of contract/warranty printer as an annual/extended contract. If Tallygenicom have no service history of the printer, a precontract inspection may be required. This is a fixed price of £150 plus parts.

The contract can be bought in sets of one year, two year or three years. The agreement is a guaranteed next day on-site visit, which includes travel, labour and spare printer parts. There is no limit to the amount of call outs during the term of contract. What is Express Exchange?
TallyGenicom will attend site. If within 15 minutes of being on-site we are unable to repair your printer we will and swap your faulty printer with a working printer. We will swap over the outer casing and unused consumables. TallyGenicom will also reconfigure the printer to the exact same settings as you had before. This is a guaranteed next business day service. What is Return to Base Warranty?
Return to Base Warranty is where you are required to send your printer to the nearest TallyGenicom repair centre. When service fix is complete the printer is sent back to you in working order. The printer must be returned in its original packaging. See Terms & Conditions.

What is Hot Swap?
TallyGenicom will attend site and swap your faulty printer with a working printer. We will swap over the outer casing and unused consumables. This is a best endeavour response.

On-site Details
On-site warranty or service varies depending on technology and product model (please see warranty terms and conditions). The contract or warranty terms state that TallyGenicom will repair your printer on-site (your printer's location).

Installation Options and Explanations

Installation #1
is a one off charge to install your new TallyGenicom printer. This is a commissioning service where our engineers will un box your printer, connect the power supply make a physical connection to the host. Our engineers will also provide user training such as using the control panel and loading paper but does not include setting the printer to a network. Time on site is up to 1.5 hours.

Installation #2 is for when you have purchased more than one TallyGenicom printer and require the same service as Installation #1. This charge is for each printer unit after the first i.e if you purchased and would like installation of 10 TallyGenicom printers you will be charged Installation #2 price x 10.

Operator Training purchased in conjunction with Installation #1. This service allows printer set up for print application, multi person training and application engineer visit. Time on site is up to 1.5 hours.

Additional units at same location. Operator Training purchased in conjunction with Installation #2. This service allows printer set up, multi person training and application engineer visit for extra units on-site i.e if you purchased and would like installation of 10 TallyGenicom printers you will be charged Installation #2 and Additional units at same location. Operator Training x 10.
